Since its inception, Google’s mantra has been “put the customer first and all else will follow”. I was asked to develop a brand identity that encompassed these values and existed as a manifestation of the organisational ethos – an identity that is, in and of itself, a reason to believe.

Advertising with Google is about demonstrating success; offering users a glimpse of an extraordinary tomorrow made possible by the Customer Experience Division: A meeting of the minds – connecting the most dynamic and switched-on team with the most successful businesses in the world. 

Our design process was informed by this concept, and rooted in architecture and philosophy – Stoa, Cicero and the ampersand. Our solution for Google’s Customer Experience logo is a visual representation of a system that functions as a unit but contains the essence of the whole, unifying the extraordinary, the emotional and the intellectual – the head and heart: Action and collective purpose
